About Us

We explore a new world of beauty while passing down traditional craftsmanship…
Our goal is to be appreciated by customers.

The crafting of precious metal was mostly handled by craftsmen, handed down in their family. Takenori Obuchi, the current Chairman of the company, started out as a craftsman, opened his own business and founded “Obuchi Ginki” in 1955.
Pioneering and introducing new technology in the traditional metal crafting industry, Obuchi Ginki has created a nation-wide customer base and sales network.
Since its founding, we have strived to develop new technology and created many products using those technologies: plants made from gold/silver in the “Bonsai” series; unique and original bird objects in the “Reicho” series, made with very fine 0.08mm gold/silver material using our technology and art; and other products using our LPC (Light Precise Casting, or electro-casting) technology.
Our production genres vary widely from fine art to gift products. We also put effort in developing our brand.

President’s Message

“President Tsuneo Obuchi”We, Obuchi Ginki, have been pursuing the potential and artistry of precious metal, based on our philosophy: “Creating happiness by adding value and joy to materials.”
Combining the traditional craftsmanship and the latest technology with the traits of materials, we continue to develop new products and bring our customers “the joys of decoration, admiration and use,” which we believe leads to creating happiness through precious metals.
It has been said that the history of precious metals goes back 6,000 years, and its value is globally recognized, We strongly believe that the value will last a thousand years due to rarity. The shapes and use of metal products have been greatly changed since the beginning. In the future they will continue to evolve with the times, building further value.
Over the past few years, an increasing number of people are interested in precious metals. We, Obuchi Ginki, will continue to strive to incorporate the customers’ voice into our products, maximizing the potential and artistry of precious metal crafts to promote the precious metal crafting industry.
